HOW WE INSTALL INDUSTRIAL CURTAINS ON A PITCHED ROOF
Installing sliding industrial curtains from a pitched roof has never been easier; you can either use
our installation service or you can install them yourself. If you don't want to use our installation service, you will need the following parts, all of which can be purchased from us in kit form.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO INSTALLING INDUSTRIAL CURTAINS

Safely gain access to your beam using a scissor lift and begin installing your unistrut window brackets onto it; once you have a few installed, slide through your unistut.

Join your unistrut together using strut sleeves then rinse and repeat this process until your area is mapped out.

Use a laser level to mark where you'd like the track to be hung; this should be from the lowest point in your building.

Insert your threaded rod through your unistrut every 1.5m and secure this with a washer and nut.

Use your hexagon thread connectors to join to your single bolt track connector and then slide your track into position.
If this seems too complicated, we can always have the industrial curtains installed for you!

HOW WE INSTALL CEILING MOUNTED INDUSTRIAL CURTAINS
RSJ / FLAT STEEL INSTALL GUIDE

Access the Beam: Use a scissor lift or scaffolding to safely reach your RSJ beam, wooden joist, or flat steel section where you will mount the industrial curtain.

Mark the Beam: Using a ceiling mount as a guide, make a mark every 1500mm along the beam, ensuring you also mark each end.

Pre-Drill Holes: Pre-drill a 5mm hole at each mark using a steel drill bit.

Attach the Brackets: Take your industrial curtain ceiling-mounted brackets and attach them to the beam using tek screws.

Install the Curtain Track: Slide your industrial curtain track through the bracket fixings and install an end stop on one end.

Add Anti-Jam Wheels: Add our signature anti-jam wheels to your industrial curtain to ensure smooth operation.

Insert the Curtain: Insert your industrial curtain onto the sliding track and fit the final end stop to secure it in place.

WHAT IS A TENSION WALL WAREHOUSE PARTITION?
A tension wall is a flexible factory partitioning system that is fixed into the ground. It is placed under tension to create a seamless and aesthetically pleasing look. We fix our warehouse partitions into the ground using various techniques to create a dust-tight seal.
OPTION 1
Detachable Ratchets (most popular)
This system is very popular as it future-proofs your area by giving you the ability to release tension and temporarily lift up your partition wall in a matter of seconds without the need for any specialized contractors.
This is an extremely beneficial solution as it allows the user to bring in oversized machinery at any time during the partition's lifespan without causing any damage.
OPTION 2
Angle Iron Fixing
This process involves fixing angle iron into the ground using raw bolts. We then use high-tensile cable winches to pull the flexible industrial partition wall panel underneath the angle iron and finally tighten the nuts on the raw bolts to add our last part of tension; this creates a dust-tight seal but is permanent and cannot be removed without manufacturer modifications.
Hanging Method
Our process begins with an on-site survey, during which we meticulously assess building angles and identify potential obstacles such as cable trays, pipes, and lighting fixtures. Utilizing this information, we create detailed drawings and manufacture your warehouse partitions precisely tailored to your specifications, ensuring a flawless fit.
We hang our flexible factory partitions typically from structural steelwork already in position in your building. We attach our industrial partition walls to RSJs and purlins using s-hooks and steel clips. We can also add a pelmet to cover any gaps if required.
Our industrial partition walls are crafted from specialized flame retardant, antibacterial materials.
