



HOW WE INSTALL WALL-MOUNTED WORKSHOP CURTAINS
WALL MOUNTED GUIDE

Using a scissor lift or scaffolding, safely access the top of the opening where you intend to install the workshop curtain.

Make a mark every 1500mm with a sharpie just above the edge of the doorway ledge.
-
Pre-drill a 5mm hole using a steel drill bit over each mark.

Take your wall-mounted brackets and install them into your wall using tek screws
-
Slide your industrial curtain track through the bracket fixings and install an end stop on the end side.
-
Hang your workshop curtain on your sliding track
-
(Optional) Install the self adhesive hook and loop to your doorframe edge to allow the curtain to seal shut.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO INSTALLING WORKSHOP CURTAINS

Gain Safe Access and Install Brackets

Attach the unistrut window brackets to the beam.

Slide and Join Unistrut

Slide the unistrut through the installed brackets.

Connect unistrut sections using strut sleeves, repeating until the area is covered.

Mark Track Position

Use a laser level to mark where the track will be hung, starting from the lowest point in the building.

Insert and Secure Threaded Rods

Insert a threaded rod through the unistrut every 1.5 meters.

Secure each rod with a washer and nut.

Join and Position Track & Install Curtains
-
Use hexagon thread connectors to join the rods to the single bolt track connector.

Slide the track into its final position.

RSJ / FLAT STEEL INSTALL GUIDE

Using a scissor lift or scaffolding, safely access to your RSJ beam, wooden joist or flat steel section.

Using a ceiling mount as a guide, make a mark every 1500mm down your beam allowing for one at each end.

Pre-drill a 5mm hole using a steel drill bit over each mark.

Take your workshop curtain ceiling mounted bracket and attach these to the beam using tek screws.

Slide your industrial curtain track through the bracket fixings and install an end stop on the end side.

Add our signature anti-jam wheels to your industrial workshop curtain.

insert your sliding workshop curtain on your sliding track and fit your final end stop.

HOW WE INSTALL WORKSHOP CURTAIN TO A ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR
ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR CURTAIN

Roll up your door so it's at the top of your entrance meaning your coil is at it's maximum diameter.
-
Using a scissor lift or scaffolding, safely access to the top of your roller shutter door where you intend to install your workshop curtains.
-
Drill a 10mm hole through either side of the flat plate section that holds your rolled up door in position being mindful to not block any mechanisms of the door.
-
Fit unistrut L brackets to either side of the door and secure them with nylock nuts and bolts.
-
Rest your unistrut on top of your L bracket and secure them in place with nylock nuts and bolts
-
Insert the single bolt track fixing through the holes of the unistrut every 1500mm.

insert your industrial curtain rail through the single bolt fixings.

Install your plastic workshop curtains with anti jam wheels pre fitted onto your industrial curtain track
-
(optional) install the 2 side infill sections to fully secure your area from draft and dust.
